Terms and Conditions

General

Throughout the terms and conditions below ”we” and ”us” refers to Swim-IT Creations and ”you“ and ”your” refers to the customer.

All images displayed are for representation only. Some colours and sizes of the articles may vary and for slate items all edges are unique as the slate is ”cut”

Orders

All orders will be fully discussed with you to ensure that we fully understand the requirement and that you acknowledge this understanding before we initiate any print run.

There is no minimum or maximum order although larger orders may take a little bit longer as we do not carry a lot of stock and may have to order in stock to fill the order. We will contact you to discuss details of the potential delays prior to agreeing payment. We accept no responsibility if our suppliers are out of stock and we cannot source alternatives elsewhere.

If there are unexpected delays we will contact you and should you not be happy with the arrangements we would in such circumstances offer a full refund of any money already paid to us.

Payment

We require payment in full before we will despatch any order. We will advise you of payment/bank details as part of the process of agreeing the design.

We will only accept electronic payments direct to our bank account or if dealing directly with our staff then cash will be accepted. Positively NO cheques and we cannot currently process credit card payments unless you submit the payment via your on-line facilities.

You need to ensure that you have obtained the cardholders permission to use the account for any payments. In the unlikely event that a card has been used fraudulently please contact your bank and the police.

Delivery

We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to good once they have been despatched. Our standard delivery charge is 2.50 to mainland UK only however this is subject to change and is dependant on the size and/or weight of the order. Details will be advised at the time of discussing the order with you.

Should orders not be able to be delivered or returned a further charge will apply and goods will not be despatched until this additional payment is received by our bank.

During busy times like Christmas and other holidays delivery times may be affected. This is outside our control and we recommend you take this into consideration when placing your order.

Cancellations

Should you wish to cancel your order this can only be done prior to us starting the print run. This needs to be done by contacting us via e-mail or mobile phone and must be acknowledged by us via e-mail to confirm the cancellation. Should a refund apply this will be handled by electronic payment - you would need to advise the account details for us to process this.

Data Protection

We will only hold sufficient details to allow us to process the order and manage any communications with you together with being able to effect delivery of your goods. At no stage will any of this information be shared with any other organisation unless as required by law (e.g. court request or warrant).

Returns

If a product is received and found to be faulty as a result of production you will be offered an exchange or full refund provided the goods are returned within 14 days of your despatch date. In such circumstances, we will cover the cost of return postage and packaging.

All goods returned must be unused, undamaged and in the original packaging. You will also need to provide evidence of the fault and be able to demonstrate that this was done before the goods were despatched to qualify for the return postage and packaging costs.

We do not take any responsibility for goods damaged after despatch; in these circumstances you would need to submit a claim against the delivery company at fault. We will endeavour to assist wherever possible as customer service is vitally important to ourselves.

Bespoke items, unless damaged, will not be considered for any returns policy as these are unlikely to be able to be used by anyone else.

Washing Instructions

Soft goods can be hand or machine washed - recommended temperature is 40 C or lower.

Tumble drying is not recommended.

In the event of a transfer or vinyl based image used then wash the garment inside out, do not iron and do not tumble dry.

Do not use bleach or detergents that contain bleach as this is likely to cause fading far quicker than normal wear and tear and may lift a vinyl or transfer from the garment.

 Slate, glass products and cork coasters can be cleaned by wiping them with a damp cloth - do not submerge the item in water.
